Fox Valley Technical College is soliciting sealed bids for two bid packages: (1) remove the roof top unit and refurbish air handling unit #2, and (2) remove and replace three existing roof exhausters for the D.J. Bordini Center. This work will be awarded to one contractor for each bid package. Bid Bond Yes FVTC is a public 2-year Technical College with its main campus and headquarters located in Appleton, Wisconsin, and a student body of over 5,000 FTE (full time equivalent) students. The College serves approximately 50,000 people annually. FVTC has two campuses (Appleton and Oshkosh), four regional centers (Chilton, Clintonville, Waupaca, and Wautoma) and eight training centers (three in Appleton, four in Oshkosh, and one in Durham, NH) covering a 5-county area (Calumet, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago) and parts of four other counties (Brown, Manitowoc, Portage, and Shawano). Section II: SCOPE OF WORK A. Provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment to complete the project described in the Scope of Work. B. The contractor is responsible for complying with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, codes and obtaining all permits required to perform this work. C. The contractor is responsible for coordinating all rough-in and final inspections needed. D. Unless stated otherwise in the Scope of Work, comply with FVTC Construction Specification Standards, Rev 14. E. The contractor is responsible for the final cleaning of construction & adjacent areas. F. Prior to the installation of any new or removed ceiling tile, the Contractor shall provide FVTC Facilities staff with the opportunity to perform an above ceiling inspection. G. Where existing flooring is to remain, Contractor is responsible for protecting it from damage during the work. H. The contractor is responsible for field verifying all dimensions.
