Renovation of a municipal facility in Ticonderoga, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade municipal facility.
The work consists of a complete roof replacement which is a three-story commercial building with approximately 13,536 square feet and a flat roof system. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: removal and lawful disposal of all existing roofing materials down to the deck; inspection of roof decking and identification of areas requiring repair or replacement (with cost allowance per square foot for deck replacement); installation of a new roofing system compliant with NYS Energy Code and local zoning requirements; installation of flashing, edge metal, and drainage systems (gutters, scuppers, etc.) to ensure watertight integrity; sealing of all roof penetrations and proper termination at walls and parapets; provision of manufacturers and contractors warranties (minimum 20-year system warranty); and site clean-up and disposal of all construction debris in accordance with local regulations. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to nteriele@northcountryruraldevelopment.org no later than Tuesday, November 18th, 4pm. Responses will be shared with all known bidders. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 20% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 10% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% The organization reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award the contract deemed in their best interest.
