The City of Palmdale is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide professional arboricultural services for 24,890 existing trees. These services are in support of City Public Works and Housing Authority Programs. Question Deadline 12/04/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Online Q&A - Yes The purpose of this RFP is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified firms to provide Professional Arboricultural Services in support of Urban Forestry Programs in Parks and City Facility Grounds, Transit Sites, General Benefit Landscapes (including landscaped medians), the Fairway Business Park, Landscape Assessment Districts, Failed Landscape Assessment Districts, Street Right of Ways, and Housing Authority properties. Arboricultural services include as-needed tree pruning, tree removals, stump grinding, pneumatic air excavation with supersonic air knife or equivalent for exploratory trenches, mechanical work within critical root zones, collar inspections, vertical mulching, and critical root zone inspections for root pruning; tree inventory data collection, required work zone temporary traffic control, and tree hazard risk assessments in accordance with the following technical specifications, and general terms and conditions.
