Site work for a water / sewer project in Claxton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to replace existing storm pipes with four 36-inch RCP. This includes the construction of headwalls, wingwalls, new foundations, toe walls, concrete aprons, placement of rip-rap, and repair and rebuilding of FE Beasley Road. The completion time allotted is ninety calendar days. Sealed bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. All bonds must be by a surety company licensed in Georgia and meet specified ratings and financial criteria. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, are required of the successful bidder. The contractor must comply with E-Verify regulations. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. QA date - 11-26-2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. The person submitting the request shall do so in writing and be responsible for its prompt delivery. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the bidding Documents.
