Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in St Petersburg, Florida. Design plans call for the construction of a laboratory facility; and 52,000-square-foot, three-story above grade office development.
The surface parking lot located directly west of the current Hub is proposed to be transformed into a research and collaboration center. As of December 1, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase and pending funding. It will likely go before the 2026 referendum. An architect has been selected; however, a general contractor or selection method is not disclosed. Although a firm timeline cannot currently be established, construction is not expected to commence prior to second quarter 2026.
