Renovation of an educational facility in Park Ridge, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 35,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Maine Township High School District 207 is accepting sealed bids for the 2026 Roofing Removal and Replacement Project at Maine East High School, utilizing SBS modified bitumen roofing. The project covers approximately 35,000 square feet, including masonry sub-contract work. This is a prevailing wage project and certified payroll will be required. All prospective Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at Maine East High School Visitors Entrance to familiarize themselves with the project; failure to attend and sign-in will result in bid rejection. Stipulated Lump Sum Bids will be publicly opened at the School District's business office. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check of ten percent (10%) of the base bid must be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful Bidder. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award the contract as it deems in the District's best interest. All Bidders must comply with Illinois Revised Statutes regarding prevailing wage rates. Copies of Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically from BHFX Planroom for a fee, with no sets available at the prebid meeting. Any issues obtaining documents should be directed to INSPEC, Inc.
