Site work for a water / sewer project in Defiance, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes 10 inch open cut point repair (10 ft maximum length, 5 each), lateral re-establishment with factory tap point repair (3 each), lateral status determination (5 each), and CCTV inspection, together with all necessary appertaining work. Proposals must be submitted on the form furnished by the City, must contain the full name of every person interested therein, and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee (either a bond as required in Section 153.54 (A) of the Ohio Revised Code with a satisfactory surety, or a bid guarantee of not less than 10% of the amount of the proposal by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 and Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code on a solvent bank, subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, but no bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
