Demolition for a road / highway in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade road / highway.
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington (RACW) is soliciting bids for the Burgettstown Demolition Project No. BMP 25-14. Bidders are invited to submit proposals for the described demolition work. Project documents are available electronically at no charge, or as a paid hard copy, from Remington & Vernick Engineers. Only contract documents obtained directly from Remington & Vernick Engineers are acceptable for bid submission. Each bid must include a bid guaranty of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid, in an approved form. Bidders are required to pay not less than the minimum salaries and wages as specified in the contract documents. The contractor must ensure that there is no discrimination against employees or applicants based on race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The RACW reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) days for review and evaluation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract. Contractors may only be considered eligible if they can begin work within fifteen (15) days of contract execution and complete the work within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
