Demolition and renovation of a municipal facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The work consists of upgrading the entryway to the CBP Office at Terminal E, including demolition of existing doors and replacing them with a new “A” Type door to optimize security requirements. It will also include installation of card readers and some minor adjacent wall repairs. Bidders should note the contract measures requirement, SBE/Const Trade Set-Aside for Miscellaneous General Work (GC) and Electrical. Miami Dade Responsible Wages and Benefits in the Building Category and a 10% Community Workforce Program (CWP) requirement apply. Bonding is required for bids of $200,000 or greater.
