Site work for a water / sewer project in New Haven, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project involves the Main St. & Manning St. to Leo Jr/Sr HS Water Main Extension. The bid proposal must include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by East Allen County Schools and Fort Wayne City Utilities Engineering. Bids must be prepared by a single prime contractor, and a bid deposit of 5% of the total bid is required in the form of a bank draft, certified check, money order, or bid bond. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and the project name on the front. Complete and detailed plans, specifications, instructions to bidders, bid forms, and general conditions are available for review at specified locations or may be obtained from the Eastern Engineering office. Contractors may obtain up to three complete sets with a refundable deposit per set. A pre-bid meeting at the project site is mandatory for each prime contractor's representative to submit a complete bid proposal. The School Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all bids, accept any bid within sixty days of opening, and waive formalities or irregularities in bidding.
