Proposals are requested from qualified trade contractors for the DFFM Fishing Piers Project at Alligator Lake North, Columbia County, Lake City, Florida. The estimated construction cost is $250,000.00 and the trade required is Inland Marine Construction. At least 5 days before the bid opening date, prospective bidders must submit a notice of intent to submit a bid on company letterhead, including a name and email address for the company contact person, a copy of the company's current corporate registration with the Florida Department of State (SunBiz.org), and a current copy of State Contractor's and Business License required by DBPR for the respective trade. Bidders who are currently working on CSI Contracting, Inc. projects or have successfully completed CSI Contracting projects in the last 12 months will be pre-qualified. After the bid opening, the low bidder may be required to provide additional financial and bidding qualifications in accordance with FAC Rule 60D-5.004. Bidders who have been placed on the State of Florida's discriminatory vendor list or convicted vendor list as stated in the relevant Florida Statutes may not submit a proposal. The awarded contractor and its subcontractors must cooperate with the inspector general for any investigation, audit, inspection, review, or hearing. If the Base Bid or the Base Bid plus alternates exceed $100,000, the bidder must submit a bid bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid amount. If the construction contract award amount exceeds $100,000, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond will be required and issued with the contract award. Bids must be submitted in full and in accordance with the requirements of the Drawings, Specifications, and Bid Package, which may be obtained from CSI Contracting, Inc., the Construction Manager.
