Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Huntington, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
**As of December 15th, 2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Furnish and Install a Pre-Engineered Steel Storage Building on Concrete Foundation. The purpose of the project is to design a foundation for a preengineered steel building using the latest standards for the Town of Smithtown Parks Department. The building is being relocated from a previous site in Medford, NY. 1. Site clearing, grubbing, sheeting, bracing, excavation, dewatering, soil erosion protection, slope protection, earth movement, subgrade preparation, removal of excess and/or unsuitable excavated material, and import of suitable material, as necessary to install and construct all the work defined within the Contract Documents 2. Site work includes, but is not limited to, the proposed structure, rough and final grading, curbing, pavement, concrete slab, temporary and permanent fencing, and landscaping. 3. Construction of cast-in-place concrete foundations and slab. 4. Project closeout submittals 5. All other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by either a certified check on a solvent bank or trust company acceptable to the Town, or a bid bond from a surety prepared in such a form as is acceptable bv the Town. The certified check or bid bond shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price and be made payable to the Town of Smithtown as assurance that the contract will be executed ifawarded to such bidders. The Town of Smithtown reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All bids must be submitted intact. Do not remove any pages. Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate and Disclosure Statements must accompany each bid.
