Extensions of this timeline are not permitted and will not be approved. The City of Brighton by and through its Division of Procurement & Contracts is accepting bids from qualified Respondents to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials as necessary for Brighton Lateral Ditch Crossing at Bridge Street stated herein this Invitation to Bid. Work shall be performed as described in the attached civil construction plans. More specifically, the Work includes but is not limited to: Open Trench Alternative - Order is not meant to provide construction means/methods 1. Obtain all required permits for Work. Work is all within City of Brighton right-of-way or easements that have already been obtained. The City of Brighton has also already obtained all approvals/permits from the Ditch Company for the crossing. Minor coordination, such as notice in advance of construction, is still required of the Contractor with the Ditch Company. 2. Traffic control plans and all equipment and signage required for traffic control per Brighton Standards and Specifications and per Colorado MUTCD 3. Erosion and Sediment Control 4. Excavation for engineered shoring and all supplies, materials, equipment and labor required to install engineered shoring 5. All equipment required for groundwater dewatering, if required. 6. Installation of temporary line stop on 12" asbestos concrete waterline 7. Coordination of electrical line protection with United Power 8. Replacement of 12" asbestos concrete waterline with 12" PVC waterline and appurtenances, including removal/disposal of asbestos concrete material per all local, state and federal requirements. 9. Connection of new PVC waterline to existing asbestos concrete waterline to the west and east of the Brighton Lateral Ditch 10.Coordination of fiber optic line relocation with Comcast. Initial discussions with Comcast indicate slack in the fiber line and can be adjusted in the field by Comcast during the Work. 11.Installation of 24" RCP storm sewer and appurtenances 12.Installation of new manhole to west and east of Brighton Lateral Ditch 13.Connection of 24" storm sewer to existing storm sewer to west and east of Brighton Lateral Ditch 14.Installation of trail/sidewalk per plan 15.Repair of asphalt roadway and subgrade per City of Brighton Standards and Specifications. 16.Any other requirements as identified in the Contract Documents or required to perform the Scope of Services. Connection of new PVC waterline to existing asbestos concrete waterline 9. All supplies, materials and equipment required to support and protect United Power electrical line, Xcel gas line and Comcast fiber line where exposed in bore pits. Initial discussions with Comcast indicate slack in the fiber line and can be adjusted in the field by Comcast during the Work. 10.All supplies, materials, equipment and labor required to install the 24" storm sewer using trenchless construction methods 11.Installation of new manhole to west and east of Brighton Lateral Ditch 12.Connection of 24" storm sewer to existing storm sewer to west and east of Brighton Lateral Ditch 13.Installation of trail/sidewalk per plan 14.Repair of asphalt roadway and subgrade per City of Brighton Standards and Specifications. 15.Any other requirements as identified in the Contract Documents or required to perform the Scope of Services
