Reference Number 0000403974 The City of Brighton wishes to retain the services of qualified contractors capable of performing water, sewer and storm drainage utility repair, replacement, and maintenance services on a Time and Materials (T&M) basis. These services may be scheduled in advance as part of planned maintenance or may arise unexpectedly due to emergencies such as water main breaks, sanitary sewer backups, flooding, or other infrastructure failures. To ensure timely response and avoid delays in addressing urgent needs, the City seeks to establish a responsive on-call agreement that allows repair assignments to be issued quickly and billed according to actual labor, equipment, and material usage. All Services to be performed under said Agreement shall commence promptly after receipt of a fully executed task order to the extent that the Professional has been authorized to proceed by the City. The City, at its sole discretion, may offer annually to extend this Agreement for up to four (4) additional one-year terms provided the Professional has performed the Services satisfactorily and all terms and conditions of the Agreement have been fulfilled. Each extension must be mutually agreed upon in writing, by and between the City and the Contractor, approved by the City of Brighton City Council, and shall be subject to the annual appropriation of funds, therefore. To be considered, the firm will need to price out the base term and each additional optional term, for a total of five (5) years, with the proposal under Fee Schedule.
