The scope of the project consists of the contractor supplying the labor, equipment, superintendence, material, etc., to perform patching of asphaltic concrete roadway or parking lot failures and sealing cracks on existing asphalt streets within the incorporated limits of Lafayette Parish. The project also includes work to be done on an as needed, on call basis with a minimum usage of 16 tons or 30 square yards per call out. Removal and disposal of existing in-place material is the contractor's responsibility. Bidders may submit their bids electronically after registering online. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check must be included. Bids must be signed with appropriate authorization documentation. Copies of the bidding documents are available upon payment, and contractors must be licensed for HIGHWAY STREET AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION. The Lafayette Consolidated Government encourages DBE participation. Work must begin within ten working days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed and will extend as specified with an option to renew by mutual agreement.
