Work under this contract includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to complete surface course restoration of utility trenches, as necessary, within the City of North Wildwood. Surface course restoration of utility trenches includes milling the existing asphalt surface two inches in depth, sweeping, cleaning, hot tacking the surface, construction of a two-inch thick HMA surface course, and hot-applied rubberized joint sealing of the surface joints. Work under this contract shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required to complete surface course restoration of utility trenches, as necessary within the City of North Wildwood. Surface course restoration of utility trenches shall include milling the existing asphalt surface two inches (2") in depth, sweeping, cleaning, hot tacking the surface, construction of two inches (2") thick HMA surface course and hot applied rubberized joint sealing the surface joints. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid (not to exceed $20,000), made payable to the City of North Wildwood, and a Consent of Surety that will provide the required bonds in the full amount of the bid if awarded the contract. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond, and upon final payment, a General Maintenance Bond acceptable to the City of North Wildwood. Bidders must comply with New Jersey statutory requirements relating to Affirmative Action, Public Works Contractor Registration, Prevailing Wage, Disclosure of Interests, and Business Registration, as well as all provisions of Executive Order 11246 and related labor regulations. Proposals must be submitted on standard forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the project name and bidder's information, and delivered to the specified location. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
