Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade, two-room educational facility; one-story above grade, two-room educational facility; one-story above grade, one-room educational facility; and one-story above grade, one-room educational facility.

Furnish, deliver, install, and inspect six new singular portable classrooms at four different elementary schools. These specifications in addition to and/or in place of similar paragraphs in the Board of Education of Harford County (hereafter referred to as Harford County Public Schools or HCPS), Instruction to Bidders, are intended to furnish all information required for HCPS to file for and obtain permits, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, tools, services, and all related incidentals required to furnish, deliver, install, and inspect modular classrooms for the following schools: Bakerfield Elementary School - two (2) units: 36 Baker Street, Aberdeen, MD 21009 Geroge D. Lisby Elementary School - two (2) units: 810 Edmund Street, Aberdeen, MD 21001 Hickory Elementary School - one (1) unit: 2100 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, MD 21014 Riverside Elementary School - one (1) unit: 211 Stillmeadow Drive, Joppa, MD 21085 Site Visit by Appointment. Times to visit a site are to be when students are not in the building, which can be before or after school hours. 2.1 Furnish, deliver, install, and inspect six (6) new singular portable classrooms at four (4) different elementary schools. 2.2 The Awarded Bidder shall supply, deliver, and set the new units per the attached Design Standards. 2.3 The Awarded Bidder shall work with HCPS, the HCPS On-Call Electrical Contractor, the HCPS Design Team, the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and respective permitting departments. .4 The Awarded Bidder shall coordinate all work with the HCPS on-electrical contractor. 2.5 The Awarded Bidder shall supply, deliver, and install all decks, ramps, and asphalt/concrete tie-ins per ADA, AHJ, and permitting requirements. 2.6 Shop drawings to be prepared for final design approval and permitting: PE stamped Modular and foundation designs. 2.7 See attached maps for the proposed approximate locations of the modular classroom(s) at each site. 2.8 All work shall be approved by HCPS Planning and Construction Department. HCPS reserves the right of final approval for any work at the time of job completion. If the work is not acceptable, the Awarded Bidder will be called in to review and correct all problem areas without additional cost to HCPS. Any work necessary will be performed in accordance with a schedule jointly agreed upon. Failure of the Awarded Bidder to correct deficiencies, in a timely manner, may result in HCPS contracting with another vendor to correct deficiencies. The Awarded Bidder may then be responsible for the associated cost(s).
