Replace existing Silent Knight fire alarm system with a new fire alarm system. Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I prequalification for contractors and are currently on the respective DFCM prequalified contractors list as of the date of this solicitation are eligible to bid. All prime contractors wishing to bid must attend and sign in at the mandatory meeting. Contractors not in attendance at this meeting are ineligible to bid. Subcontractors and suppliers are invited to attend the meeting, but it is not mandatory. During the mandatory meeting, a presentation will describe the overall scope of work and intended project schedule. Interested contractors may ask questions and request clarification about the project and the procurement process. All project-related requests for information, clarifications, and questions must be submitted via the U3P website by the specified deadline. Any interpretations or addenda will be posted on the U3P website and become part of the solicitation, and any changes or additional requirements shall be incorporated into the proposal and/or bid. Product approvals for proprietary items may be considered if they equal or exceed the standards and are compatible with the design intent, subject to written approval prior to the deadline for the final addendum.
