The work includes upgrades to the low-voltage systems in the first-floor detention area, including modifications to cell and entry door controls, replacement of audio and video surveillance equipment, installation of HVAC systems, and conversion of a storage room into a climate-controlled telecommunications room, including related tasks. Interior upgrades involve audio intercoms, video surveillance, TV monitors, and Avigilon recorders. Room conversion work includes installation of a pre-engineered non-structural chain link fence, privacy screen, and server rack. Mechanical upgrades include a new heat pump, slab, and walking pad, along with a condensate drain line. Electrical upgrades call for new circuit breakers and receptacles. The project also requires demolition of existing audio intercoms, video surveillance, and PLC console and replacement with new equipment.
