Site work for a mixed-use development in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) owns and operates a Solid Waste complex in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, NJ, known as the Howard F. Haneman Environmental Park, and a Wastewater Treatment Facility in Atlantic City, Atlantic County, NJ, known as City Island Treatment Plant. The Solid Waste facility is home to an active landfill, a recycling center, composting site, and ancillary facilities. Also on site is the ACUAs primary administration building, constructed in 1992, which features a closed-loop geothermal HVAC system. The site is home to a 5.4 MW landfill methane gas to electricity project which provides 100% of the power needs of the Park. The ACUAs solid waste complex is located at 6700 Delilah Road, in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The site consists of approximately 360 acres with approximately 102 acres representing the landfill footprint. The Wastewater Treatment Facility has been in operation since 1978 and services 14 communities in Atlantic County. It is home to the Jersey-Atlantic Wind Farm, a 7.5 MW wind farm that is privately owned and from which the ACUA purchases approximately 12 million kWh per year of electricity. In addition, the facility also houses a 500 kW solar PV system. The ACUA is responsible to the residents of Atlantic County to be financially prudent and environmentally responsible.' The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide preventive maintenance, repair, and related services for air compressors located at its 1. Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), 1801 Absecon Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ 2. Environmental Park (EP), 6700 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 3. Pinelands Park Landfill (PPL), 3024 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ The contract includes performing scheduled minor and major preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, responding to service calls and emergency breakdowns, and furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to maintain continuous and reliable operation of ACUAs air systems. Work will be performed during normal business hours for scheduled maintenance, with two-hour emergency response capability required for after-hours or critical system failures. The contract term is twelve (12) months, with potential renewal at ACUAs discretion.' Question Submission Deadline:March 26, 2026, 4:00pm All questions relating to technical aspects of the bid are to be directed in writing to the Authority Procurement and Contracts Manager via online. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00 A. The ACUA is seeking an experienced firm to provide services detailed below to provide preventative maintenance (PM) and service/repair for the listed equipment. Services are to include, but not limited to: 1. Minor PM - Twice per year a. Change oil and filter b. Change air filter c. Check belt(s) for tension and wear - Replace if needed d. Check condensate drains - if auto drain check for proper operation e. Check for air and oil leaks and vibration f. Check dryers/chillers for proper operation g. Clean compressor inside and out h. Clean after cooler and fluid cooler fins, if applicable i. Reset maintenance timers, if applicable j. Run compressor and check for proper operation k. Check voltage and amp draw l. Check all fasteners and fittings for tightness m. Visually inspect compressor and verify all safeguards are in place n. Check pressure relief valves o. Update work log for each unit 2. Major PM - Once per year a. Take oil sample b. Change oil and filter c. Change air filter d. Check belt(s) for tension and wear, replace if needed e. Check condensate drains, if auto drain check for proper operation f. Check for air and oil leaks g. Check dryers/chillers for proper operation h. Grease motor i. Clean compressor inside and out j. Reset maintenance timers, if applicable k. Run compressor and check for proper operation l. Check voltage and amp draw m. For compressors with an integrated dryer, brush or blow off the finned surface of the condenser n. For compressors with a desiccant dryer, check desiccant as needed o. Update work log for each unit 3. PM cost should include cost for all labor, parts, materials, and travel needed to complete tasks. 4. Contractor is encouraged to suggest items to the PM list if recommended. B. Service, Repair, and New Installations: 1. In addition to minor and major PM, contractor shall provide hourly rate for service. C. General Contract Information: 1. All repairs, adjustment and alterations to the equipment specified herein shall be subject to the Authority's approval prior to proceeding with work. 2. Maintenance and repair service shall be performed as specified herein and in accordance with the original equipment manufacturers recommendations including the replacement and furnishing of repair parts, except the Authority reserves the right to furnish any part or equipment needed if it may be deemed in its best interests. 3. The Contractor shall insure that all maintenance and repair service furnished shall be performed by trained personnel. The Contractor shall show that their personnel are proficient in serving the Authority equipment. 4. The Contractor shall be responsible for having all the necessary tools and testing equipment to perform the maintenance and repair service on all equipment shown.
