Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Keene, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway; one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The project is for Downtown Infrastructure Improvements and Reconstruction, with boundaries on Main Street and Central Square from the southernmost end on Water Street, continuing north to Court/Washington Street at the northernmost limit. The construction is divided into two phases, separated at the Main Street/Railroad Street/Gilbo Street intersection, with completion required separately over the 2026 and 2027 construction seasons. The scope includes furnishing and installing: - Drain system improvements, involving the removal and replacement of approximately 6,300 LF of HDPE drain culvert (diameters 10"-36") and 80 stormwater structures such as catch basins, drop inlets, and drain manholes. - Water system improvements with removal, replacement, and installation of approximately 6,000 LF of DI CL52 water main (sizes 6", 8", 12", 16"), 65 gate valves and boxes, 16 hydrants, and 1,500 LF of water services. - Sewer system improvements with about 6,600 LF of PVC sewer (sizes 6", 8", 10") and 40 sewer manholes. - Installation of raised stamped concrete intersections and rapid flashing pedestrian beacons. - Installation of approximately 18,000 SY of concrete and textured concrete sidewalks. - Installation of approximately 11,000 LF of granite curb and resetting of 7,000 LF of granite curb. - Electrical works including panel enclosure, temporary lighting, replacement lighting, conduit, wiring, and ancillary improvements. - Traffic signal removal and replacement at Central Square. - Landscaping within the limits, including: approximately 170 trees, 480 shrubs, 7,000 perennial plantings, loam, seed, tree soil cells, and mulch. - Ancillary landscaping and site features (benches, bike racks, bollards, lighted bollards, seat boulders). - Removal and replacement of signage within project limits. - Removal and replacement of existing irrigation system(s). - Removal and resetting of certain existing site features (benches, parking pay machines, clock tower, flag poles). - Removal and disposal of about 9,100 LF of existing CMP storm drain and 75 existing stormwater structures. - Associated activities: maintenance of traffic, erosion controls, SWPPP management, reconstruction of roads and sidewalks, pavement markings, and reinstatement of lines and symbols within the project limits.
