Palmyra Borough will receive bids for the 2026 Roadway Project. The Contract work includes approximately 25,535 SY milling, 25,535 SY paving fabric, 1,220 TON bituminous scratch course, and 2,450 TON bituminous wearing course. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10 percent of the total bid is required. Bonds must be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only questions submitted online via PennBID will be considered. This contract is subject to compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA), Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002, the Pennsylvania One Call Act (Act 287 of 1974, as amended), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222, Non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations, a non-collusion affidavit, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Palmyra Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project.
