Sealed bids are solicited under Section 103 of the General Municipal Law by the Village Board of the Village of Saranac Lake for 1-3 Main Street Water Chambers Infrastructure Repair. Sealed bids should be addressed to the Village Clerk at 39 Main Street and include the referenced bid above. More information and complete bid packet is available at www.saranaclakeny.gov. The Lake Flower Hydroelectric Project (The Project) is owned and operated by the Village of Saranac Lake (The Village). The Project location is at 1-3 Main Street in Saranac Lake, NY. The complex consists of two buildings adjacent to the Lake Flower Dam and downstream of a bridge on Main Street. One Main Street, constructed in 1909, is a approximately 40-feet by 55-feet brick masonry and wood trussed building which houses the powerhouse for a single turbine (Powerhouse Building). Three Main Street, later constructed in 1927, is a three-story, approximately 40-feet by 66-feet steel and masonry building which currently serves as an office building (Office Building).
