The project is intended to improve accessibility, enhance visitor safety, and encourage non-motorized recreational use by providing a durable and accessible trail surface separated from adjacent campground roadways. The rehabilitated trail will generally consist of an 8-foot-wide asphalt surface with 6 inches of compacted subbase and 1.5-foot-wide compacted gravel shoulders on each side. The trail will be constructed to maintain a maximum cross slope of 2 percent and a maximum running slope of 10 percent in accordance with applicable accessibility requirements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range of $1,050,000 and $1,170,000.
