Site work for a water / sewer project in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The principal work consists of approximately 2,200 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main replacement. The scope includes all auxiliary items such as valves, fire hydrants, excavation, asphalt removal and replacement, landscape removal and replacement, traffic control, and replacement of related appurtenances. The work is located within the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Bids are to be submitted on a unit price basis. Each bid must include a bid security amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The Wheat Ridge Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the District. The District can award the contract within 60 days of the bid opening.
