**As of December 22 , 2025 , this project has been Cancelled due to no bids received and No Idea when the project to rebid. As of this time it is unknown if an when project will rebid. The project consists of thermoplastic striping and installation of raised pavement markers (RPM's) on sixteen county roads, as well as high-water warning systems on two county roads. The work must comply with Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges, current edition, along with attached modifications and special provisions. The completion date for the project is eight months from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must inform themselves concerning Georgia laws and comply with them. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or other acceptable security equal to 5% of the total contract amount. The successful bidder is required to furnish performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Surety and insurance companies must meet specified qualifications, including certain ratings and licensing requirements in Georgia. Requests for payments are due by the 5th of each month, with payments less a 10% retainage to be made by the 20th of the month. Retainage is held until final acceptance of the project. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name and bid number clearly marked. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to re-advertise.
