Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Rufus, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the construction of a military facility; military facility; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the design and construction of transportation and site access improvements at the John Day Dam to support the turbine rewind and generator replacement (TRGR) project. Work will involve designing and building a new public access road, modifying the existing road from Interstate 84 to the dam, creating additional contractor staging space, constructing a new guard station building, installing a new canopy, and building a new auxiliary monitoring system (AMS) building. The contractor will also provide electrical and sewer connections for future TRGR construction trailers near the current service building. These improvements are intended to facilitate heavy equipment access, improve traffic flow, and enhance safety and accessibility for employees, contractors, and visitors. Magnitude of Construction: The estimated cost of the project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
