Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chico, California. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
The work consists of mobilization, temporary traffic control, clearing and grubbing, applying a type II slurry seal and thermoplastic restriping on Forest Avenue from E. 8th Street to Skyway and minor streets as shown on the plans, in compliance with the 2023 Caltrans Standard Specification and special provisions. Bids must cover the entire work described and be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project title, number, and bid opening details. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bidders bond for at least 10% of the total bid amount. Contractors must possess a Class A Contractor License or a combination of licenses required by the work involved and comply with prevailing wage requirements.
