Renovation of a swimming pool in Wolfforth, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade swimming pool.
The City of Wolfforth is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for Pool Inspection, Rehabilitation and Repair Services. All sealed bids must be received at the City Secretary's Office by the stated deadline. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered and shall be deemed void and unacceptable. All bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked accordingly with a return address and the bidder's firm name clearly displayed on the outside. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and in the case of ambiguous or unclear bids, to consider the most advantageous pricing or to reject the bid. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who offers the best value in providing the required services. The City of Wolfforth is seeking proposals from qualified pool contractors to inspect, assess, and rehabilitate two swimming pools located at the Preston Manor Clubhouse: one adult pool and one child pool. The selected contractor will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive inspection of all pool components, determining the functionality and condition of each, and proposing necessary repairs or replacements. The scope also includes full rehabilitation of both pools, including but not limited to new plaster, coping, tile, pump and mechanical equipment, accessibility improvements and other related improvements to like new condition. General Information Inquiries: Questions/inquiries concerning this Request for Proposal must be submitted prior to 5:00 PM on November 24, 2025. Scope of Work The selected contractor shall: - Inspection & Assessment - Conduct a thorough inspection of both pools, including but not limited to: - Structural integrity - Plumbing systems - Filtration and circulation systems - Electrical components - Pool decking, coping, and plaster - Safety features and compliance with applicable codes - Site and pool accessibility improvements - Provide a detailed report of findings, including photographs and descriptions of deficiencies. Inspections of facilities should be scheduled by email to trobinette@wolfforthtx.us - Proposal of Repairs - Recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades based on inspection findings. Prioritize repairs based on safety, functionality, and longevity. - Rehabilitation - Remove and replace existing plaster in both pools. - Replace or repair coping and tile around both pools. - Address any additional issues identified during inspection and approved by the City. - Removal and disposal of all construction and demolition waste
