Renovation of a detention facility in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade detention facility.
This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. Replacement of the boiler plant, pumps, and expansion tank at the Main Lodge of the Correctional Service Canada (CSC) Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge (OOHL). OOHL is a minimum-security facility owned and operated by Correctional Service Canada, located approximately 30 km south of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. This Requirement comprises the provision of all furnishing of all labour, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to complete the following: a) upgrade of the Building Management System (BMS), as well as the replacement of the boiler plant, pumps, and expansion tank at the Main Lodge at the CSC Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge (OOHL). b) The replacement of three 750MBH gas fired glycol boilers, three heating distribution pumps, and the supply and return headers associated with the heating system. c) Modifications will be required to ductwork associated with the combustion air and exhaust flues serving the boilers. d) Additional items to be replaced include: i. the system expansion tank, ii. glycol fill pump, as well as; iii. thermostats and heating control valves throughout the Main Lodge. Work involved with upgrading the existing BMS will include providing and installing: a) providing and installing a new operator workstation, b) new open application server, c) new BACNET extended architecture controllers, and d) updating user displays OOHL is a minimum security facility owned and operated by Correction Services Canada (CSC) and is located approximately 30 km south of Maple Creek, SK.
