**As of January 15, 2026, the project was awarded to Thomas Construction, with an awarded amount of $1,452,547.99.** Sealed Bids will be received electronically via PennBid by Elk Creek Township for the Sherrod Hill Road Bridge Replacement Project, Contract 2025-SH. The work includes the replacement of the existing approximately 34-foot span concrete adjacent box beam bridge with a new 64'-7" spread box beam bridge and reconstruction of approximately 510 feet of adjacent asphalt roadway. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Elk Creek Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The Contractor must comply with all laws and regulations applicable to locally funded public contracts, including equal employment opportunity. Prevailing wages will apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
