Demolition, site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

Work under this Contract will be restricted to the location(s) listed herein. There shall be no deviation from the location either by additions, subtractions or alterations by the Contractor or his representative without written permission of the Engineer The MBE goal is 15% and WBE goal is 6%. Demo of existing structure, new 1-story building with (2) ADA restrooms, a storage room and a main concessions area. Minority and Women's Business Enterprise (MBE and WBE) participation goals apply to this contract. Pre-qualification requirements: All contractors bidding on this Contract must first be prequalified by the City of Baltimore Office of Boards and Commissions. Contractors will not be permitted to bid on any single Contract having a dollar value in excess of their assigned Work Capacity Rating. Bidding Contractors must maintain valid prequalification status throughout the project. Subcontractors performing City work over $50,000 must qualify in the same manner as prime contractors. If bidding as a joint venture, documentation for the joint venture must be submitted with the bid. The Prequalification Category required for bidding is E-13001 - Three-Story and Under. The Cost Classification Range is from $750,000.00 to $1,250,000.00. The MBE goal is 15%. The WBE goal is 6%. Bidders are subject to Minority and Women's Business Enterprise and Employ Baltimore Program requirements. Note - As per Addendum 2 Optional - Site Walk on November 18, 12pm to 1:00pm; Meet at the existing Field House building by the playground.
