Site work for a water / sewer project in Richmond, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work to be performed consists of the following at Robinson Terrace (11 Units): sewer replacement, vinyl plank installation, tub/surround replacement, painting of the entire unit, plumbing fixture and vanity replacement, cabinet and countertop/sink reinstallation or replacement, wiring, breaker, and receptacle replacement, and waste line replacement. The work includes providing all items, articles, materials, operations or methods listed, mentioned, or scheduled on the Project Documents, including all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for completion. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds and include a statement from an acceptable surety with the bid. All bidders must attach the following to their bid: representations and certifications, non-collusive affidavit, previous participation certificate (HUD Form 2530), form of bid bond, list of subcontractors, Section 3 plan materials, form of bid, and EPA-approved certification of firm as a Certified Renovator (or a commitment letter). Contractors and their firms must be certified as a “Certified Renovator” by completing an EPA- or authorized state-approved training course on lead safety for work on public housing constructed before 1978. Evidence of this certification or a commitment to obtain it within 21 days of notice of award must be provided before construction begins. Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Requests may be oral or written. Oral requests must be confirmed in writing. Question Deadline 12/09/2025 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
