All work shall be constructed in accordance with the Specifications prepared by the Owner. Bids shall be submitted for demolition, disposal, furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, and services, including labor for the work, which generally involves the following activities: constructing a stormwater pond designed to provide water quality treatment for an existing segment of Pine Avenue that currently drains to Henderson Lake. The pond will function as an off-line retention facility. The project also involves expanding the parking area within the City-owned parcel south of the existing lot on North Pine Avenue, as well as repairing and resurfacing the existing parking lot. All bids shall be prepared using the Bid Package and Specifications. A 5% bid security will be required if contract price exceeds $100,000. The Contractor must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price if it exceeds $100,000, secured from or countersigned by a recognized agency or surety company authorized to do business in Florida. The City of Inverness reserves the right to waive formalities, waive any technical defects, reject any and all bids, and accept any bid which represents the lowest and best offer to the City. Question Deadline 12/05/2025 Any Bidder who is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Bidding documents, or finds a discrepancy or omission therein, may submit to the City of Inverness a written request for interpretation or correction. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its delivery to the Owner at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the bid opening.
