Renovation of a fire / police facility in Inverness, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the removal and installation of Fire Station Bay Door Replacements. The work includes the furnishing, delivery, and installation of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the removal and replacement of five complete bay door assemblies, including powder-coated panel doors on both sides (Carmine Red #RAL-3002), operators with remotes, entry keypads where existing, black weatherstripping, struts, locks, tracks and hardware, springs, photo eyes, double end stiles, and other required components. The approximate sizes and quantities for the doors are: two at 213 x 101, one at 140 x 141, and two at 122 x 101. For bay door #2, installation must maintain at least 10 feet clearance height from front to back. The contractor is responsible for the final fit/size, and all work must meet Florida Building Code requirements. A mandatory pre-bid site meeting is required for all bidders. Contractors are responsible for being familiar with all conditions on site. The owner may adjust the scope and limits of construction at any time during bidding or execution of the work. Construction time to achieve substantial completion is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 days for final completion. All bids must be prepared using the provided Bid Package and Specifications. The City reserves the right to waive formalities, technical defects, reject any or all bids, or accept the lowest and best offer.
