New construction of a mixed-use development in Alabaster, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade recreation facility; and one-story above grade library.

Court protection is required for the new Alabaster Recreation Center & Library. Bids are accepted that conform to the specifications in the bid packet, which is available online. Bids can be submitted to the City of Alabaster at the specified address by the stated deadline. Bid packets and further information can be obtained from the designated contact at Sports Facilities by phone or email or by visiting the provided website. Base Proposal a. General Description: i. Basis of Design: Carpet tile system with associated storage carts: 1. Gym floor protection system that should be carpet in nature and provide adequate floor protection. Acceptable manufacturers: a. Facility Armor b. Cover Master c. Others on Owner Approval ii. Shipping, Unloading, and Installation 1. Please include shipping, unloading, and installation of the supplied fitness equipment package. Unloading shall be included in the proposal. b. Base Proposal i. Proposal shall include shipping, unloading, and installation of the supplied package. All quantities can be found on the bid tabulation form. 1. Please submit a proposal for floor coverings and the associated storage carts for the gym space designated on the plans as (Gym 154). The space measures 196' 4" long and 115' wide for a total of about 22,540 square feet of space needing floor coverings. Vendor needs to verify the length / width. Your bid should include all necessary storage carts and storage requirements. The floor protection should be in a tile format. Your bid should include the material, shipping, unloading, and staging of the material within the building footprint. Base Proposal a. General Description: i. Proposal shall include Safety meeting attendance as required by site conditions ix. Provide safety manual and site specific plan upon request x. Conform to all applicable codes and regulations xi. Proposal shall include any storage requirements for material on site to complete work xii. Proposal shall include necessary mobilizations required for scope of work xiii. Any field verification required d. Schedule: Installation in Q4 of 2026
