a. The project consists of the rehabilitation/replacement and re-marking of existing concrete runway slabs in the outer 25 of the paved shoulder of the existing 4,500 x 75 runway, plus 250 off each runway end. b. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the Construction Plans, Contract Documents, and Technical Specifications. c. Contractor is responsible for all construction layout and staking. d. Contractor is responsible for engaging an independent testing laboratory for quality control project tests. e. Contractor is responsible for providing post-construction field notes/record drawings to the Engineer. f. Contractor will be responsible for an as-built survey of the final runway end coordinates and elevations. Further guidance regarding this will be included in an upcoming addendum. Each BID shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked and addressed as required in the below and in the Advertisement and shall be accompanied by the Bid Security and other required documents. If the BID is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the notation "BID ENCLOSED for (Project Name)" on the face thereof. Submit one original and one electronic copy on an USB Flash Drive of the Bid Form, Schedules and other required documents. Indicate the following information on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid: Project Name as stated on page one of the Bid Forms, Project Number, Location of Airport, Bidder's Name and Address.
