Site work and new construction of a military facility in Petawawa, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 295,174-square-foot, one-story above grade military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
The 427 SOAS (Special Operations Air Squadron) is the integral aviation unit of CANSOFCOM that requires a modern, purpose-built hangar that enables unit command, control, communications, coordination, intelligence and aviation asset readiness capabilities for force generating high readiness special operations aviation elements. This project is to replace the existing hangar CC-102 with new infrastructure. The total space requirement for 427 SOAS is estimated to be 27,330.87m2. The delivery model of the project is an integrated project delivery (IPD) model, the services to be procured may include: Design of the facilities, renovations, and supporting infrastructure and Construction of the facility and supporting infrastructure. TIMELINE: Advance procurement notice issued.
