Demolition and reconstruction of a single-family residence at 3721 Washington St., Pasadena, Texas, under BID NO. 25-024. All bidders must be registered with the System Award Management (SAM) and provide proof with their bid. The project is financially assisted with federal funds made available under the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), with pertinent legal requirements included in the bid package. If the contract amount exceeds $200,000, the work will be subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, ensuring employment and economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance are directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly those who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the Community Development Department. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed and marked plainly with the bid number and closing date.
