Site work for a transportation facility in Garden City, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade transportation facility; and one-story above grade transportation facility.
The project includes delegated design and construction of buildings and canopies; building demolition; construction of new paved yard areas and roads; railroad track crossings; storm drainage distribution and ditches; water, sewer, natural gas, and electrical distributions and security technologies; as well as fencing, barrier, guardrail, striping, and signage work. The majority of the construction will take place outside the Garden City Terminal's secure perimeter in Garden City, Georgia. Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a bid security equal to 10 percent of the bid sum. The successful bidder, if awarded the contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal to the contract sum. Interested bidders are invited to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting. Complete sets of bidding documents in PDF format are available from the Architect/Engineer, AECOM, and printed sets are available for a nonrefundable sum. Partial sets will not be made available.
