Norm Ross Sports Park is a joint-use park with the Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD). The City of Stanton is lead agency for the proposed redevelopment project and the project will be funded through a Proposition 68 Grant. This Project work is to construct complete in place comprises of the furnishing of all permits, licenses, materials, testing, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents to renovate Stanton's Norm Ross Sports Park. The general items of work to be performed hereunder consist of but not be limited to: Project Start Up; Mobilization; Construction Survey; Demolition/Removal; Preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and Implementation of Best Management Practices; Installation of Bio-Retention Area; Concrete; Masonry; Metals; Wood and Plastic; Thermal and Moisture Protection; Openings; Finishes; Specialties; Equipment; Furnishings; Special Construction; Plumbing; HVAC; Electrical; Communications; Electronic Safety and Security; Earthwork; Exterior Improvements; Utilities, Miscellaneous, Obtaining Encroachment Permit(s) for Pedestrian Bridge with Orange County Public Works, Garden Grove School District for Access and all associated work to complete this Project in its entirety. All construction work to be performed on the Carver Elementary School site shall be scheduled and completed during the school's summer break period, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Garden Grove Unified School District. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. New outdoor sports park consisting of paved courts for multi-sports, baseball field, playground, dog park, and community garden.
