The City of Mauldin, SC, is soliciting a Request for Quotations (RFQ) from qualified vendors for the purchase and installation of a whole system natural gas generator at the City of Mauldin City Hall facility. The generator is intended to replace the original unit and provide continuous power in emergency situations for the entire facility and any potential upgrades The City is interested in vendors with experience in the sale and installation of generators to provide a quote for the supply and installation of a 300-kilowatt natural gas generator. The successful vendor will work closely with City of Mauldin staff to ensure that the acquisition meets the current and future needs of the City at their City Hall complex. The vendor will manage the project and coordination of any sub-consultants and all project activities. The vendor will identify a project lead to act as the direct point of contact for City staff. For project, the vendor is required to quote the generator project with following requirements: o 480/277 Vac - Three Phase at 60 Hz o Mainline Circuit Breaker - 400A (100% Rates LSI) o 24V DC starting system o 10A Battery Charger o Jacket Water Heater o Sound Attenuated Enclosure o Skid base with Vibration isolators o ASCO 300 Series (or equivalent) 800A 480Vac 3 Pole Transfer Switch o Delivery to job o Installation; and A minimum of 12-month warranty Question Deadline 11/17/2025 Questions should be emailed to Curtis Broughton at cbroughton@mauldincitysc.com During the evaluation process, the City reserves the right to request additional information or clarification from proposers, or to allow corrections of errors or omissions.
