The City of Mauldin, SC, is soliciting a Request for Quotations (RFQ) from qualified firms for the paving project on Holland Road which includes milling and overlay of a wearing course. Full depth repair may be required on portions of the roadway. Depending on bid pricing, bid quantities may be adjusted so that the project total is within the Citys budget. The City is interested in firms with experience in large paving projects to mill and overlay the length of Holland Road from East Butler Road (S-23-107) to Bridges Road (S-23-91). The approximate length of the roadway is 8,200 linear feet with an approximate width of 60-feet. A minimum of 2-inches of wear course (surface asphalt) will be required for the length of the roadway The Scope of Work is designed to guide vendors in preparing their proposals by detailing the critical aspects of the project, as well asthe expectationsfor performance, resources, and reporting. All interested parties are encouraged to review the full scope thoroughly before submitting their proposals, to ensure alignment with the requirements and project goals.
