A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids are invited for the D67 Summer 2026 Roofing and HVAC Capital Improvement Project at Sheridan Elementary School and Deer Path Middle School. Bid packages include Roofing, Masonry Restoration, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical. The Roofing Contractor will manage the work of the other bid packages. Roofing bidders must be either Carlisle Centurion, Elevate Master Contractor, or Johns Manville Pinnacle contractor; own and operate their own spray rig, have five years' experience applying fleece BACK membrane in full coverage spray foam adhesive, have qualified project management, be pre-qualified by the Architect, and carry $10 million in umbrella excess liability insurance over primary insurance prior to obtaining Bid Documents. Pre-qualification forms must be returned for review and approved five working days prior to the Bid Opening Date. Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Contractors must have completed projects of similar scope and size on commercial facilities within the last three years. Each trade contractor shall submit a fully completed AIA A305 contractor qualification statement with their bid for review. Bidding Documents may be obtained in electronic format from the Architect upon confirmation of meeting the Quality Assurance Requirements indicated. All Bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of Prevailing Wages by all Contractors working on Public Work Projects. Each Bidder shall provide with their bid submission Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to 10 percent of the Base Bid amount. Bids must be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope properly addressed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Owner.
