Site work for a communication facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade communication facility.
Sealed bid proposals will be received for the construction of the WAPR Transmitter Site/Transmission Line Replacement, UA Project #000-26-4106. A mandatory pre-bid conference for general contractors will be held at the Procurement Services Annex and will continue on to the job site. There is no formal pre-qualification for this project, but bidders must provide written approval from SBA that they are an approved SBA-approved tower crew. Preliminary drawings and specifications are available for public inspection and examination at the University of Alabama, Office of Construction Administration Plan Room, Ancillary Services Building. Final plans, specifications, and contract documents will also be available for examination and printing at this location. Instructions for obtaining these documents and for making project inquiries are provided.
