Tillotson Parkway Extension Projectscope of work includesprovision andmaintenance of temporary security fencing, the demolition and removal of existing site features.The improvements will include,butarenot limited toconstructing a multi-use trail with landscapingfor an 800-by 50-foot parkway.A10-foot-wide asphalt concrete pathway consisting of decomposedgranite trail shoulders, rockery wall,storm drain adjustment,bollards, rough and finish grading,temporary erosion control measures and stormwater BMPs, new landscaping, vegetative swales,boulder installation, new irrigation system improvements, electrical system modifications, electricalconduit, and pedestrian lighting.A project alternate includesadditionalpedestrian lighting.Please see the plans and technical specifications for additional information regarding the projectscope.The work consists, in general, of furnishing all permits, materials, labor, services, tools, plants, supplies,equipment, management, superintendence, and all other worknecessary to provide for theHoward P.Tillotson Parkway Extension Project. Bids shall be submitted on District's Bid Forms included in Sections 00400 and 00410 of the ContractDocuments, plainly endorsed with Bidder's name together with signed acknowledgment of any and alladdenda. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a Certificate of Deposit, Certified orCashier's Check, Bidder's Bond or Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit, in an amount equal to at least tenpercent (10%) of the Bidder's Grand Total Bid Price. The Bid Guaranty will be retained by District andapplied to any and all damages sustained by District in the event that the successful Bidder fails or refusesto enter into the Agreement awarded to it and to furnish all required bonds and Certificates of Insurance.District intends to award the Agreement to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder based on theBaseBid Price. To the extent allowed by law, District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waiveany irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding procedure.
