Harry's Plaza Redevelopment Electric Infrastructure The project involves the redevelopment of Harry's Plaza with a focus on electric infrastructure. The work includes all labor, equipment, tools, materials, services, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the completion of the electric infrastructure according to the provided specifications and plans. Instructions to bidders include submitting a complete bid proposal as outlined, ensuring compliance with all listed requirements, and following the bidding procedures described. The principal features of work contained in this project are briefly described as follows: (All quantities are approximate) The City of Abbeville is planning to redevelop the existing Harry’s Plaza parking lot for use as an event location during City festivals. This project is for the conversion of all existing overhead electric primary, secondary, and services to underground. In addition to converting the existing electric utilities to underground, sixteen (16) LED light poles and various delivery points are to be installed. All material will be supplied by The City of Abbeville. The work consists of the installation (trench) of approximately 1565 LF of 1/0 URD primary conductor and 2110 LF of secondary, all in roll pipe. Three (3) three-phase junction cabinets, six (6) pad-mounted transformers, ten (10) secondary pedestals and services to seventeen (17) meters, and one (1) new utility pole with associated equipment. The work requires removal of nine (9) existing utility poles with transformers, lights, and anchors, and the removal of approximately 1366 LF of existing primary, secondary, neutral, and service wire, and the change-out of one (1) existing utility pole.
