Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed bids are invited for the renovation/construction of the City of Omaha Upland Park Playground at 3104 Jefferson St., Omaha, NE 68107. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Douglas County Purchasing Department's Ionwave website and must be electronically filed by 11:00 A.M. on the specified bid opening date. Bidders must complete all required fields on the electronic bid forms. Contract documents, including plans and specifications, can be obtained from the Douglas County Purchasing (Ionwave) website. Plans and specifications without electronic bid forms may also be examined and obtained at Standard Digital Imaging or examined at the Omaha Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department during business hours. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project location, rain or shine. A 7% SEB reserve applies for ESB and SB Tier 1 & 2 categories, as detailed in the specifications. No Economic Equity and Inclusion Program Plan or certificate is required for this project. A bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Omaha, must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and bidders may appeal any decision to the City Council. Question Deadline 11/26/2025 at 2:00 PM CT Bidders must submit bid questions in the Questions tab of the bid event. Questions will be answered no later than five (5) days prior to the bid closing date.
