Renovation of a mixed-use development in Warwick, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of January 23, 2026, bids were rejected and per Owner, they will be rebidding the HVAC portion of the contract. Reference Number 0000404204 SED #: 44-21-01-06-0-001-052 Warwick Valley High School Gym Hvac General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - FOB Destination - Installation Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each Bidder shall deposit with its bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the "Instructions to Bidders." No Bidder may withdraw its bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in or to reject any or all bids. Contract Type: Multiple Prime Contract based on a Stipulated Price as described in Document 00 5000 - Contracting Forms and Supplements. B. The work of the prime contracts is identified in this section and in the Drawings. 1. CONTRACT #1 - HVAC a. There are four interior HV units in the main gym hung from the roof structure above and to be removed and replaced with 4 Rooftop Units. b. The contract includes providing new Rooftop units, all ductwork, structural work, masonry work, and painting. This also includes disconnecting the heating lines to the units and extending the heating piping to the units with having the piping go up inside the base of units. c. The HVAC contractor will furnish the curbs. The roofer will install the curbs as part of a separate roof replacement project. d. The roofer will cut the holes in the roof as part of a separate project. e. The HVAC contract includes protection of the gym floor, the bleachers, the basketball backboards and any electronics or lights. f. Alternate HVAC-1: Provide painting of all supplemental steel for the roof top units. Paint with a brush, one base coat and two finish coats per color chosen by Owner. 2. CONTRACT #2 - ELECTRICAL a. The electrical contract includes disconnecting power to the existing HV units, removing the wire and conduit back to the electric panel, changing the breakers and extending power to the four new RTU's with new conduits and wiring and appurtenances
