A potential site for the new shelter has been identified at 2407 John Daly Street. To move this project forward, the city is requesting proposals for professional services to be completed in multiple phases. The first phase will focus on developing a schematic design that outlines the overall project scope and provides an estimated construction cost. Following this, the final design phases, comprising design development and construction documentation, and specifications necessary for bidding and construction. The selected Architect/Engineer and/or their subcontractors will be responsible for providing structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Civil engineering services will be provided separately; however, coordination between the design team and the civil engineer is required to ensure consistency across all project documents. Additionally, the Architect/Engineer will be expected to oversee the bidding process, perform plan reviews, and manage construction administration services.
